What I do · GEO

Be the answer, not just a result.

Buyers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI answers who to trust. I make sure your brand is what they find, cite and recommend.

A buyer question is split by the AI into sub-queries. Across 57 ChatGPT conversations, 3,554 pages were retrieved but only 110, or 3.1 percent, were cited in the answer.
Why this matters now

Why being cited is worth fighting for.

4.4x

the value of a visitor who arrives from AI search, compared with a standard organic visitor. They show up already convinced.

33x

more likely to be cited when your brand is named in ChatGPT's first search than when it is only found later.

3.1%

of the pages ChatGPT reads ever make it into an answer. Being found and being cited are different jobs.

What's included

Four deliverables. Each one with a clear output.

No vague "strategy decks". Every part of the engagement ends in something your team can act on.

01

AI visibility audit

Your presence across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, measured across a large prompt set instead of a handful of spot checks.

Citation and mention baseline
02

Entity and authority building

Make it unambiguous who you are and what you are best at, on your site and in the places models learn about you: reviews, communities, comparisons and press.

Entity and mention plan
03

Answer-ready content

Pages structured so a model can lift a clear, sourced answer: concise sections, direct definitions, real data and honest comparisons.

Content briefs and rewrites
04

Access and tracking

Crawler access, rendering and structured data checked, then visibility share tracked monthly across prompts so you can see movement.

How AI chooses

A model does not read one page. It reads many and cites a few.

My research into ChatGPT's fan-out queries found it retrieved 3,554 pages across 57 conversations and cited 110. Getting cited is a different job from getting ranked.

  • Complex questions are split into several searches and the results merged, so pages that rank moderately across many sub-queries can beat one that ranks first for one
  • Brands named in ChatGPT's first search were cited 68.9% of the time, against 2.1% when found later
  • Third-party sources such as reviews, communities and comparison articles shape what a model believes about you
  • Answers vary run to run, so I measure share of visibility across many prompts, not a single position
How it works

A four-step system, from audit to compounding results.

The same loop runs under every engagement, whether it is a one-time audit or an ongoing program.

  1. 01

    Prompt research

Build the set of questions your buyers actually ask, grouped by intent and platform.

  2. 02

    Baseline

Measure mentions and citations across engines, run repeatedly so one lucky answer does not mislead.

  3. 03

    Fix and build

Close entity gaps, restructure key pages, and earn presence in the sources models trust.

  4. 04

    Track share of voice

Monthly visibility share across the prompt set, feeding the next cycle.

My approach

How I think about GEO.

The principles that shape the plan, from five years of working on real accounts with real stakes.

01

Questions fan out

AI does not run one search. It splits a question into several and merges what it finds, so I optimise for the whole cluster of sub-queries, not a single keyword.

02

Measure share, not rank

AI answers change from one run to the next, so a single position means little. I track visibility share across a large prompt set, repeated over time.

03

Mentions are not citations

A model can name your brand without linking to you, or cite you without naming you. I track both, because they lead to different outcomes.

04

Tools measure, strategy decides

Dashboards show where you stand. They do not tell you what to change. The work is in the diagnosis and the fixes.

Who you'll work with

You work with me directly.

I lead search visibility at Contensify and have supported 30+ B2B SaaS brands across the US, UK, UAE and Singapore, from five years of intern-to-head-of-search experience. I get the foundations right first, then build on top of them.

Questions

Things people ask before they book.

Anything else? Send it with your audit request and I will answer it.

Is GEO different from SEO?

They overlap, and strong SEO fundamentals still matter. But the surface differs: SEO earns a ranking, GEO earns a citation. That is why I audit both.

Can you guarantee I will be cited?

Nobody can. AI answers vary from run to run, even for the same prompt. I measure visibility across many prompts and work to raise your odds.

Which AI platforms do you cover?

Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, alongside classic Google rankings.

Do I need an AI-tracking tool?

Not to start. The audit uses a structured prompt set. If you later want continuous tracking, dedicated AI-visibility platforms exist, and I can help you evaluate them.
